Private Math Tutoring

Private tutoring sessions are tailored to your child's needs!  These classes are available for students ages 7-13.

My goal is for students to replace the phrase, "I can't do it!" with confidence and a positive attitude toward math.

I will create a custom learning plan for your student to help them reach their full potential and create a personalized curriculum just for your child.

Unless otherwise requested, our first class will include a diagnostic assessment, so that I can determine the learner's needs and form a custom learning plan.

As a teacher, I am energetic, casual, and flexible. I like to adjust my lessons in real-time to meet the needs of my students.  I'm here to help help your child master addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, place value, telling time, and so much more!

I have experience as a math specialist in a high-needs elementary school, where I also ran an after-school math club for two years.

I recommend two tutoring sessions weekly for most students. However, this can be adjusted up or down to suit an individual student's needs.

For most students, I recommend sessions to be only 25 minutes long to ensure that students have instructional time without feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, or antsy.

However, some older students (11+) or students learning more complex concepts may benefit from 50-minute sessions.

Please reach out to me via the "contact" for after enrolling so we can discuss your child's needs and goals.
